C3 has ramped up it’s activity over the past few months. One surprise after another. After the awesome Speedaholic 2, it now seems we’re going to get two new throws. GammaCrash and FingerSpin™.

GammaCrash seems to be the follow up to one of the most under-rated yoyos ever (if you ask me) – the AlphaCrash. I still have at least two in my collection and i like to go back to them and throw them from time to time. The GammaCrash is going to be a hybrid with a POM body, aluminium guts and stainless steel weight-rings. The price is going to be around 60 to 65 dollars. The specs are not out yet but the yoyo looks great from the pictures alone and based on the C3 track-record, i say it’s going to be great.

The second release is a bit more mysterious and C3 is investing heavily into it’s hype. The entire project is called “C3XROSSOVER” and it even got it’s very own instagram account. It’s obvious that C3 is building a new face of their company which is going to be focused on promoting Fingerspin play and it is going to be represented by Ethan Wong and one of my favourite players, Kohta Watanabe. I personally think C3 is launching a sort of a sub-brand which is going to see a lot of experimental releases over it’s life. There’s no way they would invest so many resources and so much time into promotion of one yoyo. Which is going to be called simply FingerSpin™. There are no specs or any solid info but it’s obviously a flagship, bi-metal yoyo with a centring hub for fingerspins. I am guessing that the price is going to be somewhere around 150 dollars.

Here’s a teaser which showed up on C3 YT and FB channels.

Here’s a screengrab of one of the closeups:

Both of these are going to be available in our store, early February.
